646f9e108c A great retelling of the original Dragonball series, It starts off With Son Goku, meeting Bulma, and then they go off on a Journey to Find the Seven Dragonballs, while running into a lot of trouble on the way. Including the Red Ribbon Army! Yet another alternate retelling of the Original Dragon Ball series. Only this time it's longer than the first 3.

The story retells how Goku and Bulma first met for their search of the Dragon Balls. Also an alternate retelling on how they met Yamcha, Blur, Oolong, Master Roshi, & Turtle. Along the journey they will encounter representatives of the Red Ribbon Army who are also looking for the Dragon Balls.

The cool thing about this movie is it's the 10th Anniversary of the original TV series. The animation is newer and comparable to the GT series. Most of the characters look different including Commander Red, General Blue, & General Silver.

It's twicelongthe previous 3, so it has more variety and more elements to watch. Those who are long time or new coming fans of Dragon Ball will agree that this one's the best movie of the original TV series. This Dragon Ball Special was originally released on March 2, 1996 to cerebrate the tenth anniversary of Dragon Ball.

This TV special movie uses the animation from Dragon Ball GT. And yes, unlike the original TV series, Bulma's hair is purple instead of green (which suites her well I might add.

The story arc starts up from the start of the Dragon Ball Son Goku saga to the Red Ribbon Army saga which ends with Goku meeting Android 18 who is his friend.

This was a cute movie with humor and has a good English script and dubbing. the story is well written and stays true to the original Japanese source. I really enjoyed this movie.

I give Dragon Ball: The Path to Power a 7/10
